Fresh and fabulous, the dining space at Amber Komodo blends local flavor with continental charm, both in design and delectable tastes. Nature’s grace echoes throughout the resort, and the restaurant is no exception. Gifting guests both the chance to dine within cool confines or out against the ocean is an integral part of the Komodo experience and pays homage to the national park itself. The verandah lends itself well to white linen, sparkling glass, whipped up sea-views, and panoramas onto the gauzy green mountains.
Two stunning pools are fashioned for separate moods – a horizon melting infinity pool for romance and a sociable shallow pool for free-flow family play, that plunge into the folds of the natural landscape and offers sunset views to the west. The ocean flows all around Amber Komodo, bringing with it a saltwater breeze and surreal underwater experiences right on the doorstep. The onsite lagoon has been carved out and lined with a coral reef to entice rich marine life and provide a safe harbor for snorkeling and natural swimming a few steps from your door.
The wonder of wellness is nurtured at Amber Komodo. Indonesia has a long history with healing, especially in regard to calling on the elemental forces of nature to soothe tired spirits. The resort spa has been designed to be one with the ocean and the jungle – with treatment spaces that deliver ocean panorama’s, bright birdsong, and wellness journeys that pull on inspiration from the island.
Hemmed in between the cathedral like mountains and the sea, the topography of the northern side of Amber Komodo has the opportunity for raising investment opportunities. The exceptional access to sunset views makes this an excellent space for a dreamy day-club. Our architectural planners believe that access can be granted from the western edge, meaning that non-residential visitors can enjoy day-club amenities without interrupting the privacy and serenity of guests. We are proposing a generous sundeck with loungers and private booths and a narrow infinity pool that wraps around the mountain and bar as part of our initial launch with room for expansion.

OVERWATER VILLAS

Overwater living shines at the centre of the Amber Komodo universe. The resort is made to move with the rhythms of nature; inviting guests to witness the way the light changes from velvet blue to rose gold, and to be consistently enveloped by shades of turquoise served against the soundtrack of nature and the ripe scent of local flora. Color schemes soothe with coconut creams, ocean blues, amber sands, and splayed palm greens. Careful thought has been given to layout, to guide guests on that aforementioned journey from land to sea.
